Notes:
Grenache is a great example of a fantastic grape that has been given a bad stigma. It was abused in the past to make cheap box wine. Since it is a lighter red color many started to believe it was a pink grape or only a red only used to make a blush. Poor old Grenache is just now seeing a revival. So if you see a wine bottle of red Grenache take a moment to read the notes and decide it you want to give it a chance. Though they are typically on the lighter side, there are plenty of mid to full bodied Grenache's in the world.
This puppy is full of flavor capped by a tantalizing nose. Dig in and enjoy the raisins, currant and black cherry. |
