Notes:
Alicante Bouchet is a rare varietal indeed. It is Spanish
and French all at once with its spicy side coupled
with the fruit of a Bordeaux varietal. The grape
is one of only four with red flesh thus it's double
pigmented and very dark on dry years. The extra
color can add mineral attributes that calm and
sooth the mouth lessening the tone of the alcohol. |
